Brickbats to Council for increasing the parking fees for the Manly Resident Parking Scheme. After effectively reducing the uncontrolled issuing of dodgy resident parking permits we now see an increase for these limited resident permits. The first permit will no longer be free but $42, the second and third will increase to $120 and $180 and the fourth (issued in extenuating circumstances) to $280. The Business permit previously free will now be $230.
